Self-Defense Classes
Basic Self Defense and Awareness (BSDA)
$75 for 2 hours/person
Take control of your personal safety with our customized self-defense training. We focus on building situational awareness and practical skills to keep you safe in the real world. Whether you have a student heading off to college or simply want to feel more confident walking alone at night, we can help.
Classes are flexible and scheduled at your convenience. We recommend setting up a consistent training rotation to stay sharp. Contact us to design a specific program for your needs. (Sessions are booked in 2-hour blocks).

***To participate in any firearms training, students must provide proof of a current criminal background check or a valid Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms (LTCF). This policy is strictly enforced to maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and to guarantee the safety of our staff and students. Please Note: Ammunition is not included in the cost of our courses.***
HANDGUNS
New Shooter Seminar (P/LG-100) $50/person
Are you interested in gun ownership but don't know where to start? This course is designed specifically for you. We cover the essentials of firearm safety, proper storage options, and the fundamental knowledge you need before making your first purchase. We can tailor the curriculum to focus on pistols, rifles, shotguns, or a combination of all three. This two-hour session includes one hour of classroom instruction followed by one hour of live-fire training on the range.

(P-101) $200/person
Learn exactly how your firearm operates. We conduct an entry-level class that shows the new firearms owner how to care for and maintain their gun. We then instruct you on the fundamentals of shooting to increase your accuracy. Basic shooting stances are reviewed, along with techniques to improve your overall handling. This class is intended for those who are new to firearms. This is an 8-hour course.
Fundamental Development Course for pistols

This course focuses on the practical application of carrying a firearm. We evaluate various holster options and discuss the mechanics of both concealed and open carry. The curriculum covers equipment selection, proper belt setup, and the fundamentals of drawing your firearm safely and efficiently. Once geared up, we move to the range to refine your shooting fundamentals. Our goal is to identify your optimal shooting stance and improve your overall consistency and accuracy.
Prerequisites: This class is intended for students who are already comfortable handling a firearm and are looking to establish intermediate marksmanship skills. Required Gear: A sturdy top-draw holster and a magazine pouch. Duration: 3-6 Hours.
Intermediate Hand-gunner

We move beyond basic operation to focus on complex malfunction clearances and getting the weapon back in the fight. A key component of this training is stress inoculation—exposing the student to pressure to simulate the physiological effects of a real-world defensive encounter.
We introduce fluid movement techniques to enhance your defensive capabilities while fine-tuning your fundamentals for maximum precision.
Prerequisites: This class is intended for students with a solid mastery of firearm safety, holster work, and marksmanship. Required Gear: Sturdy top-draw holster and magazine pouch. Duration: 4-6 Hours.
Home Defense
(P-HD)

This specialized course bridges the gap between legal theory and practical home defense. We begin with a comprehensive review of Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine (Title 18 § 505), outlining your rights and duties as an armed citizen. We also candidly discuss the potential legal and financial ramifications of using lethal force in self-defense.
What sets P-103 apart is the location: we train in your home. Our instructors conduct a site assessment to identify strong points and security vulnerabilities within your residence. We conclude with dry-fire drills tailored to your specific floor plan, ensuring you know exactly how to protect your castle.
Red-Dot Sight for Pistols

This course focuses on the transition from traditional iron sights to modern Red Dot Sights (RDS). We review the current optic market, discussing mounting options, technical considerations, and holster compatibility.
On the range, we address the learning curve of 'finding the dot' and correct common shooter tendencies. Crucially, we teach occluded sight techniques, ensuring you can effectively engage targets even if the sight window becomes obscured or the electronic optic fails.
Prerequisites: Students must have a solid understanding of firearm safety and operational competence. Required Gear: Sturdy top-draw holster and magazine pouch. Duration: 3-6 Hours.
LONG-GUN (AR TYPE PLATFORM GUNS)

Fundamental Development Course for Long Guns

This course focuses on configuring your rifle for specific applications, whether for home defense or general use. We begin by reviewing equipment selection, emphasizing proper sling setup and carriage techniques. We also evaluate different optic and sight options to find what works best for you.
On the range, instructors refine your shooting fundamentals. We explore various shooting positions (stances) to maximize stability and improve your overall accuracy.
Prerequisites: This class is intended for students who are already comfortable safely handling a firearm and wish to establish a solid foundation in rifle marksmanship.
Intermediate Long-gunner

This advanced course takes your training off the static line, introducing shooting on the move. We utilize complex target arrays—including moving targets and multiple threats—to force students to develop rapid threat identification and decision-making skills.
Prerequisites: Due to the advanced nature of this training, students must have completed Pistol 101, 102, and LG-202 prior to enrollment. Alternatively, you may obtain instructor verification of equivalent experience with both handgun and long-gun platforms. Who is this for? Competent shooters ready to advance their marksmanship under dynamic conditions.
Advanced Long-gunner
